A massive well done to members, Andrew Gregory-Campeau, Tom Etches and Joseph Mycock for competing in the YFC National Stock Judging final held at the English Winter Fair weekend on 18 and 19th November), representing Derbyshire.
Andrew was placed 1st in the Individual Senior Beef Live and Carcass class and Tom was placed 1st in the Individual Intermediate Beef Live and Carcass class.
Together as a team for beef live and carcass, Andrew and Tom won the Smithfield Trophy. This is a trophy that dates back to 1936 and this is the 1st time Derbyshire have won this!
Additionally, as a team Tom and Joe came 2nd in the Intermediate Beef and Lamb Judging section.
This is a fantastic achievement and showcases the talent within Derbyshire.
