Matlock Storytelling Cafe Friday the 6th May Imperial Rooms, Matlock DE4 3NL

Matlock Storytelling Cafe

Matlock Storytelling Cafe returns live in person and face to face with one of the most respected storytellers you will find anywhere. Peter Chand presents a heady collection of some of his favourite traditional stories, some of which he has collected from India, translated, and shares now with us in his own unique and skilful style. Expect a mouth-watering blend of evocative, dark, and thoughtful tales from the Indian sub-continent, as relevant today as they have ever been.

After such a long break we are reentering the live world gently, dipping our toes back in the water and have made a few changes to our 'usual' operations. As such our kitchen will not be open. You are very welcome to bring your own drinks and refreshments (non noisy snacks etc) (leave the crisps at home). We will have a short interval during the night and finish at 9.30pm. We urge you to book in advance as we cannot guarantee there will be tickets available on the night. We would also like to encourage our audience members to perform a lateral flow test before attending.

Doors open at 7pm, stories and music 7.30pm-9.30pm. Tickets are £7 but limited.

If possible please buy tickets on line from https://buytickets .at/matlockstory tellingcafe
