Duke of York, Pomeroy
The Duke of York is a family run Pub and Campsite serving excellent traditional homemade and locally sourced food along with a good selection of real ales and wines. We are open for Breakfasts, Lunch and Evening Meals. Our very popular Sunday Carvery offers a choice of meats, homemade Yorkshire puddings and fresh vegetables – be sure to book ahead. We also cater for private functions – both inside and outside.
For those colder days the cosy bar and dining room both have log fires. Dogs are allowed in the bar area. In the warmer months we have plenty of outside seating in our large Beer Garden which has fantastic views across the local area. Parking for coaches (by appointment) is available on the large Car Park.
To reach us by cycle (or foot) – continue nearly to the end of The High Peak Trail (linking from the Tissington Trail) – also from the Limestone Way, Midshires Way and Pennine Bridleway.
If you wish to stay a little longer we also have an adult only, dog friendly campsite with hardstandings and EHU. In addition to the fantastic views from the campsite there are also modern shower and toilet facilities.
