Meet the Team

Mike is Managing Director and has been part of the Peak Advertiser since its inception in July 1982. Mike and his wife, Laurie, are the majority shareholders and Laurie is the Company Secretary. After building the success which The Peak Advertiser enjoys today, they now play a hands-on supervisory role, but leave the everyday running of the paper to their impressive office team.

The Peak Advertiser team is second to none and is led by Ann and Steve, husband and wife and Co-directors of the company. They manage the everyday running of the business with the help and support of all their team members. Ann joined the Peak Advertiser in 1989 and has played a vital role in the ongoing success of the business. She is now Sales Director and directs the advertising content of the paper. Steve trained us in our new computer system in 1996 and was persuaded to join our team in 1997. He is now Production Director and manages all aspects of producing the paper.

Rob joined the team in 2002, bringing with him a range of experience including a knowledge of systems and technology. He designs advertisements following customer instructions and typesets them, along with other items for input to the paper. Rob also deals with our ever-growing subscriptions list, sending copies to all parts of the UK and abroad.

Mags, our assistant manager joined us in 2003, bringing with her lots of experience in graphic design and typesetting skills. She very soon became a vital part of the production team with her typesetting ability, producing tasteful adverts and feature headings. She also assists Steve in the end stages of collating the paper ready for onward transmission for printing.

Sally joined us at the beginning of February 2007. Our receptionist is also our office administrator, an important role in the smooth running of the Peak Advertiser. Sally brought with her a wealth of experience in customer service, new business sales and credit control. She also participates in all aspects of the everyday duties of the office.

Mark, our sales manager joined the Peak Advertiser in February 2008. He has spent his career in advertising, gaining a wealth of experience in dealing with customers on a one-to-one basis, ensuring customer satisfaction with their advertising.
Mark is available to visit potential new and existing customers at their own premises to discuss their advertising needs or an appointment can be made with him at the Peak Advertiser office.

Matt joined us in February 2011. He started out doing a four year National Diploma in graphic design, which is what he really enjoys doing. Matt also has a lot of experience in digital printing and typesetting and has soon become a valuable member of the team.

Martin joined us in February 2012. Martin brings with him over 20 years' experience in pre-press, where he created artwork for all types of general advertising. He also has a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills and will be a great asset to our team.

Helen joined the Peak Advertiser in 2018. She is a highly professional Sales Manager with strong experience within advertising/media and construction sectors, and an impressive track record of leading sales teams to overachieve against targets. Helen has strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate concisely and articulately at all levels.
