Go to the marquee on the playing fields and see all the entries to the competitions before enjoying time in the tea area. There is no charge to go in and look around nor to enter any of the competition classes but payments for teas are cash only. They are open between 8am and 11.45am to receive your entries and then close temporarily for judging until 2pm when they reopen for public viewing and afternoon tea until 5pm. Winster’s festive season began in true village style on Sunday 7th December, as residents gathered outside the historic Market House for the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
