Saturday 2nd July Carnival Day From 1pm Fancy Dress judging on the sports field, gathering of visiting Royalty, stalls, entertainment, hot food and a bar. The Grand Procession leaves the field 2pm led by the Hope Royalty and accompanied by floats with music provided by Castleton Silver Band and the Concorde AllStars. Entertainment throughout the afternoon followed by disco in the marquee on the sports field from 7pm, with a licensed bar.
Sunday 3rd July Communion Service in St Peter’s Church and a car boot sale at the college on the morning. Duck Race on the River Noe in the afternoon. All proceeds from the week are going towards renovation of the children’s playground on Hope Sports Field.
