MY WAY AROUND ~ TEGGS NOSE TO LYME PARK ~ BY SALLY MOSLEY
This stretch of my walk was adorned in parts by a heavenly host of golden daffodils on the ground and trees above that were dripping with blossom. The route I chose incorporated a couple of memorable climbs but it was worth every plod to enjoy spectacular views. When walking along the top of a gritstone ridge, the plains of Cheshire stretched out beside us so flat that I thought if I squinted a little I might catch a glimpse of the sun shimmering in the distance on the Irish

MY WAY AROUND – ROACH END TO TEGGS NOSE
It was a coat on, coat off kind of day for this walk when Nellie and I went inland a bit from the official boundary walk route because I didn’t fancy the sound of Nettlebeds or Greasley Hollow. We’ve now walked from Derbyshire to Staffordshire and into Cheshire. Leaving Roach End we descended south from a bend in the road before turning right along a grassy path and over a field to Clough Head where we met the top of a lane above Buxton Brow. This quiet road only leads to i

MY WAY AROUND ~ ONECOTE TO ROACH END ~ BY SALLY MOSLEY
This section of my boundary challenge made my spirits soar as Nellie and I walked to what felt like the top of the world. It brought tears to my eyes from a combination of wonder and cold wind! MY WAY AROUND ~ TISSINGTON TO WATERHOUSES ~ BY SALLY MOSLEY
This was the most exciting and enjoyable section of my challenge so far, walking over a rural paradise of remote farms and quaint little villages. However, there were oodles of bog, squelchy fields and farmyard gloop to contend with as well as paths overgrown with brambles and a ford to wade through. Nellie and I had a great time!! From the O.S. map it would appear that Waterhouses is a village divided – one side of the main road is in the Peak District National Park but the

MY WAY AROUND ~ TISSINGTON TO WATERHOUSES ~ BY SALLY MOSLEY
THIS IS NOT INTENDED AS A WALK GUIDE It was an early start for this ramble and I was the first car in Tissington Station car park. Nellie and I had the trail almost to ourselves as we ambled along to Thorpe. Birds were singing and there were catkin dangling from some of the trees. Beyond Thorpe Station we went over a field to Spend Lane then crossed to walk down a narrow lane beside The Firs, a very large red brick property. As we wandered down between neatly trimmed hedgero
