The next Bakewell Repair Café will be held at the Methodist Church on Matlock Street on Saturday 23rd March. This regular event is put on by the Bakewell Rotary Club with other volunteers and is a great way to reduce, reuse and recycle. Over the last six months we have stopped many items from going to landfill or given advice for repairing everything from outdoor trousers to handbags to vacumn cleaners.
The café is open from 10.00am until 1.00pm (last jobs taken at 12.30pm) and is a great opportunity to see your local community at work. Repairs are done for free but donations towards costs are always welcome.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are available and we look forward to welcoming you.
