Just 24 hours before Matlock’s award winning DaleDiva choir were due to step on stage on Saturday with Shrewsbury Brass Band for their joint ‘Class and Brass’ show, after months of rehearsals, the venue cancelled with technical issues. Disaster!
But the winners of Channel 5’s choir contest ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ are true team players and pulled together in a desperate dash to net a new venue. Thankfully Matlock Football Club came in with a last minute save!
Despite it being match day, MFC quickly turned around the club for an unforgettable evening and DaleDiva were able to tick off a long held goal of sharing the stage with some truly top brass! They all appropriately ended the night with a joint rendition of footy favourite Sweet Caroline to celebrate finding their perfect pitch! Result!
