The ever-popular Oxfam Open Gardens is back. What better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon than enjoying the beautiful gardens of Bakewell? This year’s gardens are located in central Bakewell and are explored by a level walk along Castle Street, Milford, Holme Lane and Riverside. The gardens vary in size and character, with interesting layouts and plant collections. Drinks and delicious home-made cakes will be available at The Medway Centre along with jewellery and plant stalls.
£5 entrance to all gardens, payable at locations in Bath Gardens, Holme Lane and Riverside.
Look out for the Oxfam balloons and banners.
