We are a group of passionate local residents dedicated to fostering a stronger, healthier community. We believe that a community growing space is more than just a place to grow vegetables, fruit and flowers; it’s a place to grow connections, share knowledge and provide fresh, healthy food for local people.

• Community Connection: Creating a shared space for neighbours to meet, work together and build lasting friendships.

What We're Looking For

We are respectfully reaching out to local landowners who may have a piece of land they would consider selling or leasing to us at a reasonable price.

Size: We are ideally seeking pockets of land; it doesn’t have to be big, as long as we can grow on it. We’ll consider any size.

Location: We have to start somewhere so at the moment we’re looking at the Starkholmes area in Matlock or nearby.

Conditions: We would prefer a site with good sun exposure and access to a water source, but these are not strict requirements.
