BAKEWELL LADIES GROUP FIRST MEETING TUESDAY 21ST APRIL

Would you like to meet new people, make new friends, learn new skills and come to fascinating talks and demonstrations? If so, Bakewell Ladies Group is the place for you. They are a group of 20-30 ladies of all ages and backgrounds and will be meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, at the Friends Meeting House, Bakewell, at 7.30pm, starting on Tuesday, 21st April. They are calling themselves ‘Bakewell Ladies Group’, and will enjoy a range of speakers, pot luck suppers, crafty sessions, trips out, monthly coffee mornings etc. The inaugural meeting will be free to new/ prospective ladies, so go along and suss them out. You will find them welcoming and your support will be invaluable. Their aim is to be inclusive, supportive and open minded as well as having fun and enjoying each other’s company. The annual fee will be £30 if you would like to join.
At the first meeting they have invited Sarah Dufton, Digital Police Community Support Officer, Cyber Crime Unit, to give a talk on Cyber/scam awareness. A ‘pot luck’ supper will also be provided to round off the evening.
