After Sarah Finney’s Mum, Flora Ascroft sadly passed away in November 2024 she decided to organise a charity event in aid of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance in her Mum’s memory as it was Flora’s favourite charity.
A 60s, 70s and 80s evening was held on 12th July at The Cow Shed, Millers Dale, where a total of £1,808.25 was raised.
Sarah would like to thank David, Thomas and all at The Cow Shed, Uncle Salty and Peak Disco. All the generous donations of raffle prizes and support given by many local businesses. Last but not least, Sarah would like to thank everyone who supported this event – it was a great success, there will be more to follow!
Tracey Jones, Community Fundraising Executive for Derbyshire said, “We would like to say thank you to Sarah and all the people who helped and supported her in raising an amazing £1,808.25 to support our lifesaving charity.
“We rely on support from the local community and businesses to help raise the vital funds to keep our helicopters flying.”
Thank you for your continued support.
