COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR NEW FIRST RESPONDERS GROUP – HDCFR

During the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, Hartington Village Hall was delighted to host “ArtStand” from Crich who staged 14 stands of quality art and various crafts exhibits. The opportunity to provide ‘Cuppa and Cake’ was given to the newly formed Hartington & District Community First Responders – HDCFR. Over the 3 days, 20 community volunteers joined a rota to ‘man’ the kitchen and serve the amazing variety of homemade cake and cheese scones along with a ‘cuppa’. This fantastic community support resulted in the grand total of £632 raised which was put to immediate use providing equipment for our newly trained responders who are already making a difference.
