DERWENT VALLEY FLORAL ART

Members enjoyed an unusual subject for the demonstration this month. ‘A Load of Rubbish’ by Sue Hodgson was not about recycling but all the falsehoods and denials in newspapers etc. Each flower piece was an interpretation of such stories. Everyone had a laugh over some stories, eg: the spaghetti tree on April 1st 1957 by BBC Panorama.

Our next meeting is June 5th at 7.30pm at Calver Village Hall.
