The next Repair Cafe will be held as usual in the Methodist Church Hall, Matlock Street, Bakewell on Saturday 27th September from 10.00am until 12.30pm. The Repair Cafe is run by the Rotary Club of Bakewell as part of our grass roots level interaction serving the community. Our usual cast of characters will be in attendance repairing items from vacuum cleaners and lamps, to sewing machines and hedge cutters. Where we can we try to send you home with your item ready to use again. It is run entirely by volunteers who simply wish to help reduce, reuse and recycle items which would otherwise be sent to landfill, and you can learn a lot from their various expertise. We merely ask for a donation towards running costs and you can purchase a very reasonably priced cup of tea and a biscuit while you wait. Last repairs will be taken at 12.00pm to give our volunteers a chance to finish up before 1.00pm.

For further details please call Margie on 01629 813638 or just come along and support us by having a cup of tea and a chat. If you have skills to share you could also enquire about helping out as a volunteer. We hope to see you there. Remember, don't bin it, fix it!
