HAVE YOUR SAY ON SOLAR CAR PARKS IN THE DERBYSHIRE DALES

Derbyshire Dales Community Energy are a non-profit organisation which helps local communities tackle climate change and save money through renewable energy projects such as the solar panel installation on Twiggs Stores in Matlock.

DDCE are exploring whether certain existing car parks in the Derbyshire Dales could be converted into ‘solar car parks’ to help tackle climate change. A solar car park is an ordinary car park with a canopy of solar panels. The solar panels generate electricity which could be used to power nearby buildings or electric vehicle chargers.

DDCE are seeking people’s views on this idea, and are inviting everyone to take a 2-minute survey which can be found at: https://shout.com/s/ 7Lgtuy0V. Alternatively use the QR code below. DDCE would love to get as much feedback as possible from the local community. Further information can be found on the website: www.derbyshiredalesenergy.org.uk
