Every August Bank holiday Cressbrook Club hold a much enjoyed auction of locally grown fruit, vegetables and home-made cakes, jams, chutney, wine and craft items. A very yummy evening with lots of the cakes being shared out, recipes swopped, lots to drink and at the end of a much enjoyed evening a donation of £917 will be donated to Ashgate Hospice in Bakewell.
