Visitors to a campsite in Birchover over the May Bank Holiday enjoyed a weekend of fun, activities and live music with the following amounts raised to support charities/good causes:
• Ashgate Hospice refreshments – £516.63
• Jessica Link stall with fun games – £278 to support Jessica’s Ghana trip with Derbyshire Explorer Scouts, taking part in 2 weeks of volunteering/ teaching.
• Stanton-in-Peak PTFA Festival Stall, facepaints, and glitter hair – £309
• Birchover Youth Club pre-loved toys and books – £42
Barn Farm Campsite would like to thank everyone who supported the weekend, thanks to the staff, stallholders, attractions, musicians, mobile bar, food outlets, visitors and residents who came along.
Campsite staff ensured that everything looked perfect and the marquee barn enabled the live music from Rivers and Paper Kite to take place during the evenings when the weather turned showery.
Our next Family Fun Weekend will be Friday 25 and Saturday 26 July, when we will be supporting Blythe House Hospice.
