ROWSLEY CE PRIMARY SCHOOL OFFERS GOVERNMENT-FUNDED BREAKFAST CLUB

Rowsley CE Primary School has been selected as one of 700 pilot schools nationally to offer a free breakfast club. Children can attend school early to ease themselves into the day, playing with their friends and enjoying a tasty breakfast, completely free of charge. The project has been funded by the government’s Breakfast Club Early Adopters Scheme. Business Manager Mrs Middlebrook said, ‘We are hoping that this project will be a success nationally, and we are proud to be part of the scheme from an early stage. We truly believe that all children should benefit from a good breakfast and gentle start to the school day, to really help them settle into learning and achieve their full potential’.
