The legendary Monsal Hill Climb returns for its 95th race on Sunday 5th October. Supported once again by VeloViewer. The historic race attracts some of the best hill climb specialists from across the country, with around 180 riders expected, all setting off at one minute intervals to test themselves on the famous one-in-six gradient up to Monsal Head.

Since its first running in 1930, the Monsal Hill Climb has become a firm fixture in the hill climb calendar, with hundreds of spectators expected to line the race, creating a wall of noise as riders take on the short but brutal ascent. With elite riders chasing course records and amateurs battling for a brilliant prize list, the 2025 event promises to be another thrilling chapter in the history of this classic challenge.
