WIZARDS, WANDS, AND WONDER AWAIT AS WIRKSWORTH PREPARES FOR A SPELLBINDING DAY!

Wirksworth, Derbyshire – Sunday 5th October 2025

Magic is returning to the market town of Wirksworth as Wizarding Day makes its much anticipated return this autumn! From 10.00am to 4.00pm, the streets will once again come alive with spells, spectacles, and surprises as visitors of all ages are invited to dust off their cloaks, polish their wands, and step into a day full of enchantment.

This year introduces the brand-new Enchanted Kiln area, where magical displays and interactive activities will captivate curious witches and wizards.

Across town, visitors can enjoy:

• Magical Market – packed with wizarding wares, crafts, and delicious treats.

• Owls at Wirksworth Station – meet majestic birds before boarding the Wizarding Express from Duffield.

• Spellbinding Storytelling – cosy corners filled with folklore, myths, and legends.

• Magicians and Street Performers – dazzling shows around the town.

• Crafting Stalls and Hands-On Fun – make your own magical creations.

Visitors are encouraged to travel by bus, train, or use the Park and Ride service, as town centre parking is limited. Advance Park and Ride bookings also come with magical perks, including a souvenir 2025 Wizarding Day Class Timetable and entry into a prize draw.
