BASLOW TENNIS CLUB

Are you interested in playing tennis? Baslow Tennis Club could be the club for you to either begin or continue your tennis game. There are 2 all-weather courts and the use of a third court, all with floodlights. All members enjoy the free use of the courts by booking online. There is a small charge for the use of the floodlights. Coaching sessions are available for adults and juniors of all abilities. There is a ladies morning session on Tuesdays 10am-12 and a gentlemen’s session on Thursdays 2pm- 4pm. Club night is on a Tuesday 6pm-8.30pm and there’s a Saturday morning session 10am-12.30.

The club run tournaments throughout the year, encouraging everyone to enter and there’s a social event to celebrate finals day for everyone who entered. Other social events are held throughout the year. The club has teams playing in the Sheffield and District League as well as the Chesterfield League.

The third court is the multi-use games area (MUGA) and is part of the Baslow Sports Field CIO. This court can be booked by anyone through the Baslow Sports Field CIO for a fee. The tennis club however have use of this court included in their membership fee. This year the MUGA will be available for Pickleball on Sundays 1pm-4pm for a fee of £3 per session payable to the Sports Field CIO.
