CHELMORTON VILLAGE HALL (THE WAR MEMORIAL INSTITUTE)

If we don’t use it... we may lose it!

Please come for a visit, we would love to show you round our brilliant space and take some new bookings for 2025. The hall can be hired for kids’ parties, weekly clubs and classes, or as a DIY wedding/celebration venue – just ask, everything considered.

What we have to offer: two large rooms (one with stage), a fully equipped kitchen,

ground-floor toilets and an outdoor patio area.

Ongoing events include:

- Tuesday coffee morning and book exchange – come along for a natter;

- Wednesday morning yoga classes;

- Back for 2025 - table tennis (book by the hour);

- Bi-monthly Saturday B.Y.O.B. quiz nights. Hosted by the fantastic Pondy and his brilliant sidekick Christine. Next quiz 26 th April – please ring to book tickets.

Then come and celebrate 100 years of the War Memorial Plaque Unveiling on 21 st

June – a quiz night with a difference. Dress up in your 1920s outfits and play some wholesome parlour games as well as the regular quiz. There is a 100-year-old gift for everyone attending. All welcome, but book early as numbers are limited!

Other up-coming events include The Great Chelly Clothes Swap. Ladies, look out for flyers and posters coming soon.

And don’t forget the ever-popular Chelmorton Festival, 18th to 21st July.
