Machu Picchu is one of the most iconic sights in South America, and the culmination of the magnificent Inca Trail trek through the Peruvian Andes. Join Blythe House Hospice in October 2027, as we trek this breathtakingly beautiful route through valleys and high passes, scattered with fascinating Inca ruins.

Travel a path that weaves through cloud forests, mountain passes, and centuries-old ruins, culminating in your first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu at sunrise.

Marie, a previous Blythe House Hospice Overseas Trek participant, says, “When I saw that Blythe House Hospice, a local charity, was offering this fabulous opportunity of a lifetime, I jumped at the chance. I attended their presentation evening to find out more and was so excited I signed up the next day!”

For your opportunity to be part of something truly meaningful, come along to our Machu Picchu Trek Information Evening on Wednesday 4th March at 6pm. The session will allow you to find out more about this incredible experience, meet the team involved in the trek and understand how your fundraising will help North Derbyshire patients supported by Blythe House Hospice.

Blythe House Hospice provides 24/7 services to deliver vital care to patients across North Derbyshire who are affected by life-limiting illness. Only 28% of the hospice’s running costs come from the NHS. The rest is raised through fundraising initiatives such as our overseas challenges, fundraising events, high street shops and gifts in Wills.
