It's time again to reduce, reuse and recycle at the next Bakewell Repair Café.
It will be held in the Methodist Church Hall, Matlock Street, Bakewell on Saturday 29th March, from 10am until 12.30pm.
Run by the Rotary Club of Bakewell as part of their grass roots community work, we will have volunteer repairers working to fix household items to save them from ending up in being dumped.
In the past year we have stopped over 120 items going to landfill. The Café is run entirely by volunteers and it is a good opportunity to learn from the expertise on the day. We merely ask for a donation towards running costs and you can purchase a very reasonably priced cup of tea and a biscuit while you wait.
Last repairs will be taken at 12pm to give our volunteers a chance to finish before packing up.
