2 HADDON VIEW, STANTON IN PEAK Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May

You would never know that behind 2 Haddon View a garden stretches off up the gentle hillside.

It really is a garden for plant enthusiasts where you will see a great variety of unexpected things! Agaves, aeoniums, big cacti, marsh marigolds, and dogs tooth violets are all in the garden. The many coloured rhododendrons make a real splash of colour. There are three wildlife ponds, host to lots of newts, frogs and toads and also a koi pond.

Tea, coffee and homemade cakes are available and there are patios throughout the garden where you can sit and enjoy your refreshments.

All money raised goes to the National Garden Scheme which funds Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK and other vital nursing and care charities.

The garden is open 11am to 4pm each day and entry is £4 with children free. Dogs on leads are welcome, but it would not be possible to get into the gardens with a wheelchair.

For any further details contact Steve on 07989 419825.
