2025 CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL AT ALL SAINTS’ PARISH CHURCH, BAKEWELL 11TH-21ST DECEMBER

A reminder that the seventeenth Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints’ Parish Church, Bakewell will take place between 11 and 21 December 2025.

After the festival’s opening during a short service at 7pm on Thursday, 11 December, the church will be open from 9.30am to 4pm daily (12 noon to 4pm on Sundays).

Delicious home made refreshments and light lunches will be served in the Open Door Café each day between 10am and 3.30pm (12.30 to 3.30 on Sundays)

There will be music to entertain:

• At 11.15am on Saturday 13 December the ever popular Bel Canto Ladies’ Choir will perform a coffee concert of seasonal songs and at 7.30 that evening Bakewell Choral will perform their annual carol concert. Entry to the former is free, though donations for church funds are welcomed, whilst tickets for the latter are £12 (accompanied children free), available from members of the choir, from 07752 674719 or on the door.

• On Saturday, 20 December at 7pm “The Sound of Christmas” will fill the church with festive joy. This promises to be an exceptional evening of performances by Peak Voices and Darley Dale Brass Band, supported by the Bakewell Youth Theatre. The evening will be hosted by Emmerdale star, Andy Moore. Tickets are £17.50.

The festival will close during a community carol service at 6pm on Sunday, 21 December. Entry to the festival is free with any donations going towards the ongoing cost of maintaining the church.

Please come along and enjoy the magic of the church full of trees decorated to reflect all aspects of our Bakewell and district community. It is a Bakewell tradition not to be missed.
