The next Rotary Club of Bakewell Community Coffee and Repair Café will be held at the Bakewell Methodist Church Hall on Saturday 28th March from 10am to 12.30pm. Come along for refreshments and bring your items for repair. Trusty volunteers are there to help and you could even learn how to fix things yourself. There are fab electrical repairers who will try and bring life back to your small appliances. The 'glues and screws team' (Dave Rawson and Harry Gregory, pictured) have a long list of items they have saved and are a dab hand at sharpening knives and tools. The textile team have also rescued countless jumpers, cardigans, coats, bags and soft toys! All are volunteers and only donations to the Rotary Club are asked for which in turn goes to the Rotary Small Grants fund which supports local groups and schools twice a year. So why not drop in for a coffee and see what is happening? Or of course, bring your items along for repair. For further information contact Margie on Wednesday or Friday on 01629 813638 or go to the Rotary Club of Bakewell website.
