MAY BANK HOLIDAY FUND RAISING EVENT FOR ASHGATE HOSPICE SATURDAY, 23 AND SUNDAY 24 MAY

Ashgate Hospice volunteers will be at the scenic Barn Farm Campsite, Birchover over the late May Bank Holiday weekend. There will be an Ashgate prize draw raffle – win a hamper on both days! The winning ticket will be drawn in the evening.

Ashgate volunteers will be selling soft drinks, traybakes and cakes – with vintage games including Spin the Wheel and Bucket Toss – plus glow items!

From noon there will be an array of stalls and attractions: Crafts, jewellery, plants, games, small fairground rides, tractors, truck rides, bouncy castles, pony rides, tarot card readings, glitter stall, and Lena’s Wellbeing Tent. There will be a bar and food stalls serving breakfasts and snacks, together with live music and children's entertainers. (Also supporting the local Guides Group and Compass Fostering). Please be aware that some stalls will be cash only.

Saturday, 23 May

• 1-3pm – Animal encounters

• 4-6pm – Loopy Lou, walkabout entertainment, party dances Punch and Judy show

• 2.45pm Bella’s Bellydancing – fun colourful dancing with audience participation

• 8pm Rockin’ Red Rocket – bringing their take on pop punk and rock

Sunday, 24 May

• 2-4pm – Rachel as Rumi from KPop (children’s entertainer, songs, games)

• 3pm – Hog roast

• 3.30-5pm – Stuart Brown, balloon modelling

• 8pm – Paper Kite, country set plus party songs – a fun local duo. Sparkly cowboy hats and party mix! Fancy dress encouraged.
