  • 1 min read

There has never been a better time to visit the Staffordshire Moorland’s village of Longnor – with its cobbled marketplace, quaint old buildings, magnificent scenery and walks and welcoming shops and pub.

The gardeners of this lovely village have been planting, weeding and pruning to get their gardens ready for you to enjoy on Sunday, 14th June from 10am. until 4pm.

Starting from the wonderful old church of St Bartholomew, you will be able to get a location map (£5 per person, under 16’s free) with details of all the gardens to be visited. To make it a really wonderful day out, there will be music in the village and children will love the playground which is the best for miles around.

Refreshments, to include a slice of home-made cake, will be available at the church whilst the gardens are open. There will also be a raffle, tombola and plants for sale.

All proceeds will be split between Flash and Longnor First Responders and St Bartholomew’s Church. For more details visit the Facebook page Longnor Action Group or call Colin on 07368 820442. Church Location SK17 0NU or what3words ///objecting.quoted. hope.
