Over 70 women gathered at the Cowshed Café in Millers Dale for the annual Peak Women in Ag Christmas meeting, filling the space with laughter, music, and festive cheer. The evening was a wonderful celebration of friendship, farming, and community, with attendees travelling from all across the Peak District
The atmosphere was electric as guests enjoyed a fabulous night of entertainment from a 10 piece brass band, whose lively set combined classic Bavarian tunes with well-loved Christmas carols. A highlight of the evening was a spirited rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas, which had everyone joining in with gusto.
Beyond the music, the evening offered a moment to celebrate the strength of the Peak Women in Ag network and the remarkable growth achieved — not only in numbers, but in energy and community spirit over the past two years. As women from across the farming community gathered, the night became a vibrant showcase of the resilience, camaraderie, and joy that lie at the heart of rural life.
