The Peak Wesley Way Pilgrimage has just completed its second year providing pilgrims with a beautiful, if sometimes challenging, hike through the Peak Park, with overnight accommodation provided in Methodist Chapels en route. Over 80 bookings to date confirm the popularity of the experience which is open to those of Faith or of none.

On reaching Baslow Chapel, walkers will find, thanks to a DCC Community Leadership grant, as well as one from another local supporter, a very welcome bench where they can catch their breath. The bench is, of course, also there for the use of locals and any passers-by who need to take a break on their way up School Lane in Baslow.
